President

Dr Saeed Khan, Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi

It is with great pleasure and humility that I extend a warm welcome to each one of you as President of the Association of Molecular Pathology Pakistan (AMPP). I am honored by your trust in me to lead this society into its next chapter of growth, contribution, and innovation.

Although AMPP is relatively young in its formal establishment, the roots of molecular pathology in Pakistan go back many years, nurtured by countless researchers, clinicians, and educators. Together, we have built a solid foundation that now enables us to harness global advances for local impact.

Our mission is clear: to promote excellence in molecular diagnostics, to foster collaboration across disciplines, and to ensure that innovations in genomics and molecular pathology translate into better patient outcomes here in Pakistan. During my tenure, I plan to prioritize strengthening training and capacity building, encouraging research in underexplored areas, and forging partnerships with international societies and industry.

AMPP MISSION

The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMPP) is a not-for-profit scientific society that advances the clinical practice, science, and excellence of molecular and genomic laboratory medicine through education, innovation, and advocacy to enable highest quality health care.
